Two Poems

      IF

      The thunderous world of cat
as she pelts across the floor.
      Not quiet, not discrete
as she chases after her ball.

      Playing with fire and ice
as I dance in your eyes
Burnt in your white hot flames
      I say my last goodbyes
and drown in the fiery ice.

      Another bomb dropped,
      yet more money wasted.
      Yet another bullet shot
      another life wasted.
      The penny's dropped,
      the money is wasted
      as with each bullet shot
      another life is wasted.

      What if's

      What if
      Hitler was a jew?
      What if
      Hitler was a young black?
      What if
      all he had to do
      was care
and not just watch his back?
