WINTER GARDEN
Wheelbarrow ice cap
locks up yesterday's weeds
new blooms greet the sun
SPRING RETURNS
Rhododendrons nod
concert master breeze conducts
botanical song
OCTOGENARIAN WALKING
Long gone now dancing
through the sultry summer nights
winter frost soon settles
SLEEP
Only insomniacs
in tangled sheets know how loud
the dawn chorus sings
COMMERCIAL CROP
Laden oak tree sheds
its seed but no acorns grow
all are tannery bound
