Poem

      "REMEMBER THE BOYS"

Remember the boys as they fell on the shore.
Remember our boys & the boys of before.
Remember the trenches filled with blood, tears & sweat.
Remember each ANZAC ... try not to forget.

Remember their journey of a lifetime to be.
Remember the country that they fought to set free.
Remember their face just a part of the crowd,
Each face is a footprint,.. Remember, be proud!.

Remember the eyes of each innocent one
And never forget they were 'Mum's loving son'
Remember their courage, their guns loaded & set,
Remember their fear & never forget.

Remember the shine of the brass in the moon.
Remember the Soldier, the Emu, the plume.
Remember the boots the leather & swaet,
Remember the foot soldier who got his feet wet.

Remember the Hero who got the Troops fed
To make sure they slept tight in their bullet proof bed
Remember each soul from the bottom to top,
Don't pick out a few, ... Remember the lot!

Remember the good mates that they left there,
Remember their story, ... ask if it was fair?
Remember the fallen in the next generation,
Remember the Boys from every Nation.

      Remember the 'Road to Tipperary'
Remember the ghosts who now are set free.
All the innocent lives that followed the sun,
Who now are together,... forever as one!.

Remember the Mateship, 2 Up, a Bet,

      ... Remember Each Life ...
      Lest We Forget
