Poem

      PHILANDERING

      Off with the ring
      Having a fling
      He'd a shoulder to bring
      To philandering

      While the target may be
      Not so young but 'lonely'
      Makes it tempting for he
      This philandering

      His mates they just smile
      Admiring his guile
      Some wishing too
      Go philandering

      Meanwhile wives tut tut
      Condemning the slut
      Say he shouldn't do it-but
      Silently wonder if their's
      Goes philandering

      When it becomes known
      And things fall apart
      He swears no allegance
      She was just a tart
      It was certainly not
      An affair of the heart
      Just philandering

      Unravelled
      Some parties escape and
      Are glad
      Others are shamed and
      Feel bad
      Most are just left
      Sad
      At the fallout that comes
      From philandering.
