About the Authors
EDMOND RONAYNE lives and writes in Rotorua, New Zealand, and much of his writing builds on his international travel experiences. Several pieces have been published in local newspapers and he assists companies internationally in technical matters.
ZDRAVKA EVTIMOVA was born in Bulgaria, and lives and work as a translator from English and German in Brussels, Belgium. Zdravka's short stories have been published in Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Russia, Japan, India, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Argentina, Turkey, Nepal, Macedonia and Serbia. A short story collection "Bitter Sky" was published by Skrev Press, UK, in 2003 and re-printed with somenew stories added to it by Route Press, UK in April 2005. Zdravka's short story collection "Somebody Else" won the 'best short story collection by an established author' award of MAG Press, San Diego, California in 2004.
HAYDEN WILLIAMS lives and writes in Dunedin, New Zealand.
RON RODGERS is a current pensioner, former stockman, bridge carpenter, and farmhand has been published in the Australian magazines - Overland - Readers World - Heist - and FreeXpresSion. He also has stories in New Zealand's 'Southern Ocean Review.'

RICHARD L. PROVENCHER has had poems and stories in print and on line with various journals, including The Danforth Review, Rubicon Publishing, The Dublin Quarterly, Expressions of Soul and Tooter4 Kids. His first chapbook was "In the Light of Day". He lives with his wife, Esther, in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada.
EMMA HARRIS was born in Kent, England and spent six years living in Botswana before coming to New Zealand in 1990. She holds a Masters degree in English (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland, and is embarking on a PhD in English literature at Massey University, studying the palimpsestic nature of fairytales and folklore in relation to postmodern fiction. She currently teaches English at Epsom Girls Grammar School in Auckland.
JULIE WAUGH is an emerging poet living in Sydney, Australia. Her poems can be found in Tylus, Pixelpress, An Australian Poetry Collaboration, Positive Words and in the up coming Galaxy Anthology.
DAVID GREGORY is based in Christchurch and his work has been published widely in NZ and
overseas. He is an active member of the Canterbury Poets Collective and an editor of the Canterbury
Combined Presses. He has two published volumes of poetry to his credit and is working on a third.
CHRIS PARSONS taught English as a second language in Japanese Colleges and Universities for six years and now works as a psychologist in schools. He has had poems published in Snorkel numbers 1 and 4 and was a finalist in a city competition for sonnets in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he lives with his family, writing poetry when he should be doing other things.
SHAE MacMILLAN was born in Balclutha, New Zealand. She soon started writing songs, short stories etc. Went to Dunedin, Otago University to do a B.A. Abandoned that to set out to work. Now in good work and planning future writing.
PATRICIA PRIME is an Auckland editor, poet and anthologist, widely published in New Zealand and overseas.
REBECCA LU KIERNAN lives on the Gulf Coast in Australia. She has published in numerous magazines in Australia and the USA and, of course, NZ.
TREVOR REEVES: Editor and Publisher of Southern Ocean Review and poet - writer of short stories that have appeared in print and electronic magazines widely. Recent book of poetry published "The Poetry Book to Cuddle up in Bed With". Also several books of non-fiction.
JUDITH WOLFE lives in Dunedin, New Zealand. She is an artist, designer and sculptor. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and some of her works have been in travelling exhibitions overseas. Exhibitions at the Empire Cinema, guest artist at the Wanaka Art Group Exhibition, August 1997 and exhibited in the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show exhibition, Easter, 1998, and the Cleveland Art Awards, Dunedin, October 1998, and 2001 Also the Columba College exhibition 1999. Four exhibitions, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2006 at the Community Art Gallery, Dunedin NZ. Prolific book illustrator including "In the Grip of Evil" Reeves/Wolfe, History of Cobb and co and Dear Pal (stories of the Maniototo). Recent non-fiction, drawings for 'Nazi Holocaust for Beginners', with Trevor Reeves.Home Page
