Poem

      FINDING LOVE

      we were like strangers
      like two birds, our
      feathers met, some
      where in between

      we sang tunes to
      the twilight; ate
      seeds of the earth,
      drank from fresh
      water streams

      when the sun rose
      away we went to
      our new nests,
      each to the other
      to live, in a far
      corner of the earth
